PHILLIPS, of the Paeroa Cash Sawmills, wishes to apologise to his customers for not fulfilling their orders as promised. The delay in executing the orders has been caused owing to a misadventure in the feed of the vertical. New machinery to replace the old machine is now on its way to Paeroa and he hopes to have the mill going in a day or two, when orders will be fulfilled as speedily as possible. Contract No. 21. — Supply and delivery of 1000 cubic yards or more of 2 -inch metal from Tahuna quarry on to Tahuna-Mor-rinsville Road.
