On Saturday last the men played the Second round of the President’s Trophy. H. S. Budd returned the best card, with Dales second. This leaves Budd and Dales even, and these two will play off the tie medal play.
Next Saturday the Paeroa team will visit Thames. The team will travel by the 10.50 a.m. train, returning on the 4.20 from Parawai. Any player wishing to make the trip please communicate with the secretary before Thursday night. ladies. The result of the match on the Paeroa links between Hamilton and Goldfields resulted in a win for the latter by two games.
On Saturday next Paeroa will Play Thames, at Thames. The ladies’ team will be chosen from the following : Miss F. Walmsley, Miss Bain, Mbs Thorp, Mrs Silcock, Miss E. Walmsley, Mrs Bain, Mrs McDougall, Miss L. Buchanan. Emergency, Miss I. Taylor.
