For the six months ended June 1922 British immigrants to New Zealand numbered 7790 (3990 males and 3 800 females), arrivals from foreign states during the same period numbered 182 males and 49 females, Chin a (103 males and 4 females), Italy (25 males and 14' females), Denmark (10 males and 4females), and Switzerland (10 males and 4 females), supplying the majority.
