CENTRAL THEATRE PICTURES TO-NIGHT. “THE DEVIL WITHIN.” The latest Dustin Farnum picture, “The Devil Within,” produced by Fox, is to be screened this evening. It recalls in part Jack London’s stpry. of “The Sea Wolf.” The picture fades in with a scene of a towering brute of a sea captain, who treats his crew with habitual cruelty. The only one that dares question his wishes is Dr. Philiol, whom the catpain respects slightly for his mental superiority. In a drunken craze the shipmaster arouses the wrath ofl some island savages by confiscating one of their idols —thereby drawing upon himself a native witch’s curse. From then On a series of misfortunes befall the aging man. His redemption is finally accomplished through suffering. The love theme has to do with the captain’s nephew. WEDNESDAY NIGHT. THE SILVER HORDE. On Wednesday night will be prei sentej “The Silver Horde,” a Rex Beach triumph ip which the might of the North is pitted against the cunning of Wall Street, with love and fortune at stake..
