After an animated discussion at the annua] meeting of the New Zealand Farmers’ Union at, Wellington yesterday, and after hearing a statement by the chairman of tihe Meat Control Boiird. the following resolution was adopted : "This conference desires io express appreciation of the work already done by the Meat Control Board and reaffirms the resolution passed by the Producers’ Conference, namely, ‘That tihe pool be made com-' pulsory as soon as possible-’ ” As an art publication and as an interesting and up-to-date pictorial journal this week’s issue of the “N Z.
