TUESDAY NEXT. A notice appears in our advertispig columns to-day that a benefit dance is (o be tendered to the widow of. the late Mr. Flannigan, a railway employee. It will be remembered that the deceased was an invalid for a long time prior to his death, which occurred at the Sanatorium. His dependants, a wife and three young children, were left ir, poor circumstances, and the railway men are making an effort to do something for therm A committee was set up, with Mr. W. Redfern as secretary, and it has been decided to hold a monster dance and euchre tournament,. At a meeting of the Business Men”s Association on Monday night it was decided that the case was a deserving one, and consent was given to the members subscribing to the funds.
