A large number of the brethren and sisters were present, and these with the large congregation in addition filled the church almost to overflowing. A good, hearty service of singing, wit.n prayer and preaching by the Rev. WJ. Enticott occupied the time froin 7 p.m. to 8-30. The choir rendered the anthems, “There is a Green Hill” an .1 “What are These,” with much effect and feeling. The quartette “God is a Spirit” was sung by Mtesdam.es Dean, and Foster, and Messrs Foster and Mitchell, and this contributed much to the evening's worship. 7he sermon was from Hteb. 8, verses 10-12, the subject being “The Coming Religion.” The preacher welcomed the Order, associating his Church with the principles .of the Order that bad been recited by the Master of. the Lodge during the evening. In the course of his address he made mention of the loss of Bro. Le Manquais to Protestantism and b" the good faith and work of! the late brother in the town and district.
