GOLF.
On Saturday the Paeroa team travelled to Te Aroha to meet the local team. The Te Aroha team easily; defeated - the Paeroaites, H. Budd and Mrs. McDougall proving the only Paeroa winners. On June 17 the men will play the monthly medal round. The green superintendent has received several complaints from golfers that some ladies wearing high-' heeled shoes have played on the greens. The ladies will play their postponed first round club handicap pa Saturday in conjunction with the June medal round. Entrance fee. for the former is Is, subsidised by the club. Partners to be drawn in A. and B. grade, respectively, A. grade comprising all who have qualified for L'.G.U. handicap. The draw will take place at 1.30 p.;m. sharp, and intending competitors unable to be at the clubhouse at that hour are asked to send in their names to the secretary any time beforehand in order to off included in the draw.
