The Turua 1 schoolboys played a Ngatea school team at Ngatea, the game, resulting in a win for Ngatea by 18 points to 0. COUNTRY CLUBS AND UNION. OPINION AT NETHERTON. The feelings existent between the Ne’herton Football Club and the Paeroa Rugby Union were expressed at a convivial evening held at Netnerton on Friday, after the annual meeting of the hall debenture-holders. Mr. B. Dunlop, replying to the toast to the local football club and other sports, said the Netherton club members felt that they had not been fairly treated by the Paeroa Rugby Union. In future the Paeroa Union would have to give the country teams more consideration or the country teams would join with the Hauraki Plains Union. Mr. T. Rice, in defence of, the Paeroa Union, said that in the Paeroa Rugby Union there was the greatest of friendship with Netherton and there was the greatest anxiety to do their best for Netherton.
