PERSONAL.
At the Ohinemuri County Council meeting yesterday the chairman, Mr A. R. Robinson, made reference to the valued work of Mr T. E. McMillan, who was until recently the editormanager of the “Gazette.” Mr Robinson said it was their first meeting since Mr. McMillan’s departure and he took that opportunity of. expressing the Council’s regret at .his de* parture. Mr. McMillan had been a very live man during the time he had been editor of the local paper, and had improved it considerably. There was no doubt that Mr. McMillan would be a great loss to the town.
