The first motor service to Waitakaruru was commenced on Monday evening, when Messrs Brenan and Co.’s service car extended its run from Ngatea. The car stayed overnight, and returned in the morning with a couple of passengers. This service is tri-weekly. Convenience is also being made of this service to deliver the “Gazettes” along the main road between Ngatea and Waitakaruru, as has previously been done be-tween-Paeroa, Ngatea, Kerepeehi, and Netherton.
