c After considerable delay owing ,to the excessive growth. oC grass the first club fixture of the season was played on Saturday afternoon, when the Hanna Shields mixed foursome borught out a fair number of. players, the winners being Mrs E. H. Andrews and Bricky Budd, with a net score ot 63. A lot ofj work has been dime on the course which’, with the greatly enlarged greens will tend to the general improvement of the links, and in spite of the late start a good season is anjiiciapted. On Saturday next the monthly medal matches for men and ladies will be played, bver 18 holes. Players will choose their own partners.
The medal round will be played ovdr the old course to enable members Jo put in one qualifying card for L.G.U., which includes the original No. 5 tee.
