VETERINARY MATTERS.
ORGANISING ANOTHER CLUB.
OF THE PLAINS.
A committee recently formed to further the interests of a proposed veterinary club on the western portion of the Hauraki Plains met at Ngatea on Tuesday evening, Mr A. J. Andrews Jn the chair. It was decided to appoint Mr P. Kinninmont to canvass the district and explain to each farmer the aims, objects, and benefits of such a club. Those present at the meeting paid their initiation fees, and it was announced that a great number of farmers in the district have signified thein x intentions of joining immediately. Indications are that the club will he successfully organised and a veterinarian appointed before the coming season.
