A .meeting of the Rotokohu Ratepayers’ Association is advertised to be held on Friday evening, to discuss urgent business. Of the sections put up by auction by Messrs B' rnard Stansfield and Co. lasi Friday, on behalf of the Public Trustee, in the estate of- the late Mr Frederick Marr, a block pf 100 acres was bought by Mr W7 J. Russell, of W.dkino, at £3 10s, per acre ; the san.e purchaser secured the 2% acres lot at £l5 an acre. The 16-a'cres lot was secured by Mr J. Scott, of Paeroa Road, Waihi, for £ll per acre. The 16 acres is tentatively sold, the deal being uncompleted. The 6-acre block with the homestead was no; sold, but offers have been made.
