A commendably high standard is attained in this week’s issue of the “N.Z. Sporting and Dramatic Review.” The illustrations are profusely studded through Rs pages, and include a beautiful series of scenes at Princess Mary’s wedding, picturesque incidents at French revels, snapshots at the Auckland Racing Club’s carnival: the Feilding Jocker Club’s meeting, and tlfe Avondale Jockey Club’s meeting. The •sculling championship at Wanganui is interestingly depicted, als’o - the inter-Univcrsity sports at <he Auckland Domain. There are numerous other series of a comprehensive nature and a two-colour supplement of “The Kid” makes an attractive souvenir.
