FULL SUPPLY LOCALLY. SURPLUS AT TIROHIA. Replying to representations; by the Piakb County Council and the Te Aroha EJorough Council in reference to an alleged'shortage of trucks for metal carriage, the Minister for Lauds (Hon. D. H. Guthrie) wires as follows: “. . . I have made inquiries into the' matter, and am informed by my officers that all the quarries on the Paeroa-Waihi branch line, and the Tirohia-Te Aroha line have been receiving full supplies, and during the past fortnight Tirohia has not been able to Ibad all the .waggons supplied. If more trucks are' required application should be made.”
