tub.ua club. ANNUAL MEETING. At the annual meeting of the Tu'rua Football Club, held in Mr p. A. Scotti’s premises on Wednesday evening, there was a large and enthusiastic attendance. Mr; J. Bennett was elected to the chair/ Oyer 30 members were enrolled. The report and balance-sheet placed beforp the meeting were adopted. ■lt was shown that? the club had had a successful season, and there was a credit balance of £l2 12s 6d. The proposal to join with the Hauraki Plains Rugby Union was discussed. It was decided to send delegates to the union meeting next week. The delegates will report '.o another general meeting, which will decide with what union it will join up. The following officers were elected : Patron, Mr R. W. Bagnall; president, Mr R. McLean ; vice-presidents, Messrs J. Whimp, G. Gray, R. Gibbons, J. Cresswell, C. Farley, J. M., Buckley, C. Ansford, F.- Olsen, T. White, H. Grundy, S. Mercer, G. Parry, W. Chapman, Dr. J. Jensen,, J. T. Davies ; delegates to the Hauraki Plains Rugby Union, Messrs K. Fpx, H. Eflvin, L. Clotwprthy, and C. Al • Scotti. The electipn of a committee was left for another, general meetingIt was decided to hold an "A” and “B” match on the first available date, which will probably be Saturday, April 8. The dub teams will be picked as a result of the match.
