THE Hauraki Plains Gazette With, which is incorporated THE OHINEMURI GAZETTE. Motto: Public Service. MONDAY, WEDNESDAY, & FRIDAY. FRIDAY, MARCH 24, 1922. MANUAL TRAINING SCHOOL.
The inclemency of the weather last Tuesday night prevented the attendance of a deputation of Netherton residents to the Paeroa Chamber of Commerce, to ask for assistance in respect to getting facilities provided for manual training.’ The position of the Netherton children is particularly unfortunate, inasmuch as they are not able to get manual training at all, being too far from Thames,, and unable to get it at Paeroa until a manual training school is erected ■ iri this town. Other centres on the Hauraki Plains would also be served by such an institution at Paeroa, and it is now ah opportune time for combined representations to be made to the Minister of Education to proceed with the provision of the promised manual training school at Paeroa. -•-
