MOTOR PAINTING.

HAMILTON HOUSE. W. T. MATTHEWS. Hauraki Plains and Thames Valley car owners who desire to take advantage of the slack season of the year to get their cars painted and renovated will do' well to have a chat with Mr W. T. Matthews, 'Mie well-known Hamilton car painten in Collingwood Street. For the benefit of strangers to the district it may be mentioned Qiat Mr Matthews was until •some two years ago in charge of certain leading garages, whose painting work he is now entrusted with. Besides a firmly established Waikato trade, Mr Matthews gets orders from as far away as Te Kuiti, Rotorua, and even Pahiatua recently. The consistently thorough work!, the quality of paints, and finishing have earned him a name not only locally, but far afield. Some of the finest finished cars one sees in Hamilton at tfie present time came put of- Mr Matthews’ painting rooms, and some of the less recent ones are a stlahding advertisement for the durability of the materials used. "Thoroughness” is the keynote, and the guarantee of satisfaction which Mr Matthews announces in his advertisement space in this issue is a guarantee that will be duly honoured when you place your car under his care for repainting and upholstering. You won’t see Mr Matthews’ staff tiddlywinking around the inside parts pf spokes with the wheels still on the axle; the wheels and all other parts are made as accessible and clean as possible before the actual job begins. A point like this,, though perhaps the uninitiated person may not note it, shows Hhe difference Between the "skimper” and the real craftsman.
