TRUE TO LIFE. Sandy was very fond of whisky, r -o much so that when he died he was found with a bottle clutched in his hand. At the funeral one of his friends said, consolingly : “Ahweel, weel, as he was in the beginning so did he return.” “Ahm not; sure,” put in a crpny, meditatively; "the wee bairn had milk in his bottle.”
