BOWLING.
PAEROA V. THAMES. DECISIVE VICTORY FOR THAMES Last Saturday 40 local bowlers journeyed to Thames to play a return match with the Thames bowlers. The weather conditions were ideal and the Thames green was keen, in fact so keen that it puzzled the Paeroa bowlers tb such an ex? tent that Thames won by the exceptionally wide margin of l 115 points. It will be remembered that the previous game (8 rinks) was won by Paeroa by 5 points, and the third game should be quite interesting to witness. The Thames bowlers and their lady friends left nothing undone to make the afternoon a most enjoyable one for the Paeroa whose defeat was more -than compensated for by the hospitality showered upon them. The local bowlers also appreciate the kindness of those members who gave the use of their cars for the journey.
