THE LAIDLAW CUP. TURUA WINS SEMI-FINAL. The semi-final in the Laidlaw Cup competitions for the tennis clubs of the Hauraki Plains was played between Turua and Kopuarahi at Turua on Saturday, Turua winning by 103 points to 61. The Turua combination proved far too strong for their opponents, and wan 11 sets out of 13. Turua has now to play Hopai in thb final.
