THE DANDY DIXIE MINSTRELS.

TO-MORROW NIGHT. A bright combination is the Dandy Dixie Minstrels, who appeared at the Coronation Hall, (says the local paper at Mosgjel). The company, headed by Jolly John Larkins, submitted an excellent programme of vocal, dancing, and. harmonious items, all of which appealed to the varied tastes, and were thoroughly enjoyed by the audience. The programme opens with a lively chorus, and is followed by a full minstrel first part, Mr, Don Wallace takipg the part of interlocutor, Mr John Larkins bones, and Mr Billy Summers as tambo. A series of individual turns, interspersed with amusing patter, lends distinct' variety to the entertainments Miss Rosa Haw-t thorne, who is the possessor pf a sweet; soprano voice, was heard to advantage in “Swanee River,” and in response to an enthusiastic encore sang “Good-night” charmingly. Mr Billy Summers, who has been described as the Caruso o|f ragtime, showed himself capable of handling lively songs, followed! by eccentric stepdancing, which merited a double encore. Miss Daisy Morris, the soubrette of the company, pleased with the rent dering the "Cuddly Kid.” The programme terminated with an uproarious comedy entitled “That New Man,” Jolly John Larkins supplying screamingly funny antics. The dressing is a feature of Che entertainment, and smart froekings by the feihine section lent added interest. Tpi-inor'-t row night the company will appear, at the Ceptral Theatre.. ‘
