This popular actress portrays the part of Kathleen Dexter, who made a vow to make the man responsible for her brother’s death suffer until he was ruined and helpless. How her great hate slowly changed and blossomed into love, after a marriage that was loveless and sinister, makes for a picture whose dram,a will carry you off your feet.

THE DANDY DIXIE MINSTRELS. TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 28. A South Island paper, reporting the above company, wrote as follows: A capital show headed by Jolly John Larkins and other stats, opened a three nights engagement at the Opera House on Monday evening, to a full house, and were successful again last night in drawing another full house, with a high-class, bright, and amusing entertainment. Mr Jolly'John Larkins, the coloured comedian, head* ed the list in the comedy section, and had the audience rocking ivith laughter with his witty gags and funny jokes. His big scream was the song entitled “Bull Frog’s Isle,” which left t[he audience laughing until their sides ached.
