A great improvement is being made in the Methodist Church building, in that tastefully-coloured lead lights are taking the place of the. stippled plain glass that it formerly had. Imitation is the sincerest form cl flattery. At Tuesday’s meeting of the Thames Valley Power Board a request was received from the recently formed Wanganui-Rangitikei Power Board seeking permission to ih.i vestigate the' Board’s methods of business. It was -stated that the manager was quite willing to extend every possible facility. Members expressed gratification at the delicate compliment conveyed, and decided to accord every courtesy to the representatives of the southern board, and these gentlemen will be shown the whole of the work completed and ’n progress, both outdoor and in the office.
