PATETONGA-KAIHERE ROAD.

Sir, —In my travels between Paten tonga and Kaihere I notice th,at a sriiall piece of road (under the Coum ty Council’s jurisdiction) has been sadly neglected and that the wate? from a small stream has been doing some damage. If, it is not given attention at an early date it will be the means of anothei’ concrete job costing some more thousands of pounds. There is no necessity to mention the exact spot, as I am sure if any one of the councillors pass the spot, especially on a dark night, he would not fail to notice the disgraceful condition that this small piece of road is in. It is also dangerous to the public. < ONE WHO KNOWS.
