MEETING OF KAIHERE BRANCH. A meeting of the Kaihere branch of the N.Z. Farmeijs’ Union was held in the Kaihere Hall on Saturday, evening, Mr W. Mclnnis presiding over a good attendance of members.-. Mr A. Walters was elected secretary to the. branch. PROVINCIAL PRESIDENT, The chairman explained that Mr Duxfleld, the provincial president, had offered to address the branch members. Mr Dibble thought he would be well received. Mr Ross offered io make arrangements to ensure that Mr Duxfleld would be driven to catch the coach back to Oliinewai ■ next morning. '■Arrangements for Mr Duxfleld’.-; visit were left to the committee to arrange. 1 BRIDGING KAIHERE STREAM'. The lack ’of a brjdge over a stream which crosses the road between the Kaihere store and hall was discussed,, and the feeling of the meeting was that it should be bridged immediate!y.. ■ ' It was decided to ask the County Council to construct a foot-bridge 'over the stream as soon as it was possible. ■
