THE LILAC DOMINO.
TUESDAY, DECEMBER 13. , “The Lilac Domino” is the operatic production which the J. C. Williamson! management bought from Mr Hugh D. Macintosh, together with “Chu Chin Chow,” and it played to phenomenal business in Sydney for six months, firstly at the Tivoli Theatre, then at, the Criterion, and lastly at the more spacious house, Her Majesty’s Theatre. It is computed by the Williamson firm that it could easily have played .for at least another ten weeks, but;, booking arrangements ahead necessitated its removal to Melbourne, where it also ran for over t)hree months to capacity business. “The Lilac Domnio” is comic Opera of a high class in three brilliant acts, and with a unique plot containing dramatic moments of high intensity and comedy relief of exceptional brightness makes “The Lilac Domino” the greatest success of many years. The Opera will be staged complete in every detail, with full chorus, ballet scenery, and orchestra, under the management of Mr D. B. O’Connor, in the Central Theatre on'Tuesday, 13th inst„, for one night only. Box plans are available at Flatt’s, where seats may be reserved without extra charge.
