PATETONGA’S NEW HALL
FINE COMMODIOUS BUILDING. Re-erected at Patetonga, one would scarcely, recognise the same building which once stood at Karangahake a short time back,. its general appearance being absolutely transformed, It is a fine commodious building, 86ft by 4011 over all. The stage is, a large one, 20ft w r ide, and two cloak rooms occupy a space at the other end, leaving a dancipg floor of 60ft by 40ft. The interior of the hall is nicely finished off with rimu battons and asbestos sheets. The cost ’of purchase, removal, and re-erection has been estimated at £l5OO, and is now valued at over £2OOO.
