TO BE HELD TO-MORROW.

The . one outstanding feature for this week’s entertainment and amusement is the bazaar, which is .to take place in the Central Theatre tp-mor-row. The ladies connected with the St. Paul’s Ladies’ Guild have been working for months past, preparing for this one event, and during that, time have an immense quantity of needlework of all classes. The plain stall this year will contain a greater variety of sewing tnan ever before displayed. .The cookery division includes classes for almost all the usual lines, including homemade bread (both white and. brown), scones, sponges, jam-rolls, and collection of afternoon tea cakes. For this competition some nice prizes have been allocated. The judging will be in the capable hands of Mr Hale, baker. The Art Gallery is another featured side-show, ’ and will no doubt be well patronised. For the competition .the prizes will include s pair of ducks, 3 sacks of wood, 3 sacks of coal, phonograph, 2 bicycle pumps, and other trophies and articles. The bazaar is to be opened at 10.30 a.m., and continued throughout the day - and . evening, and patrons may have morning tea, luncheon, -afternoon tea, strawberries and cream, supper.
