INCONVENIENCE OF FLOOD. Heavy rain fell here on Wednesday night and early on Thursday morning, and as a consequence the creek is heavy in flood. This latter has caused no small. measure of inconvenience. The children residing bn Morrinsville Road were unable to f proceed to school owing to the waters flowing.four feet ,high over Mackenzie's bridge, and the current was so strong that the cream cart experienced great di’culty in crossing. One of the local farmers is in an awkward predicament; his c.ows are on 'the wrong side of the torrent, and he is unable to bring them home milking, until the flood subsides. The . flood does not mind.
