A reminder is given of: Messrs Dalgety’s sale at Paeroa on Tuesday. Some of the successful bidders at the Hikutaia sale on Tuesday experienced some difficulty in taking their purchases home, the bulls especially giving some little trouble. Some of the animals wer,e taken some distance up the road, only to break away and return to the saleyards, and there were several mad gallops made through the township after the escapees. A splendid assortment of illustrations characterises this week’s issue of the “Sporting and Dramatic Review.” Local interest is attached to the Whangarei Racing Club’s meeting, which is covered in a comprehensive series of principal events. Racing at Randwick is another good feature, a prominent portion is devoted to glimpses of open .life in England,. the racing and trotting season at Home, and other happenings that loom before the public at Home and abroad. Wilkie Bard, the celebrated London artist,, is the subject of the frontispiece, and other theatrical and movie stars and local dancers are picturesquely depicted. HEALTH IS MAN’S CHIEF CAPITAL Don’t suffer pain or weakness, Be cured by the latest scientific method of healing—the De Laurence System. The De Laurence System of healing reveals the presence of two minds — the conscious and sub conscious. The sub-conscious mind appears as a separate entity possessing independent powers. The real difference between the two minds consists in the fact that the conscious mind is merely the function of the physical brain, while the sub-conscious mind is a distinct entity, having a mental organisation of its own and being capable of wonderful powers which act on the physical mechanism. The De Laurence system of healing effects its cures through this sub-conscious mind and establishes permanent health.
