AN INCORRECT REFERENCE.
Sir, —During the course of his oration upon the merits of r lan No. 2 as against the demerits of plan No. 1 for the Paeroa memorial to fallen soldiers, Mr J. L. Hanna said that all those who had read the Bible knew something about Herculaneum and its style of architecture. May I ask him for chapter and verse, as I cannot find any reference to the subject in the Bible or the Concordant
R. WHITTEN.
