TTTITH the increased price of all commodities, and the high Vt cost of land and stock, it behoves every farmer to find out exactly the butterfat produced’ by the individual, cows inhis herd. The accuracy, of this machine, was recently demonstrated at Mr C. S. Puckey’s homestead, when Mr T. R. McCarthy, Manager of the Kaitaia Dairy Factory, submitted it to a careful test, con= cerning which he/reports as follows ‘‘ The,weight,of milk registered in the container was Checked with a tested scale and found to be correct. Four cows were tested, from which two different samples were taken, one from W. & 3,. Container, and,, after emptying the container, an ordinary dipper sample was taken.
