A. AND P. ASSOCIATION.
HAURAKI PLAINS MEETING. A short, formal meeting of the Hauraki Plains A, and P. Association was held at Ngatea on Monday, the president, Mr A. Chatfield, presiding. The meeting was held in order to alter a rule in regard to conditions ofi membership. Rule 6 required that each person to become a member had to be proposed and seconded, which practice had not be.en followed strictly. A motion was carried validating, the election of all those who had paid last year’s subscription. The honorary auditor, Mr E. Walton, undertook to post up any nominations received,, as provided for by the rules respecting the election of president or secretary. Nominations had to be in seven days before the annual meeting. It was decided to forward every member a copy of the printed balancesheet. The president said there was a "small credit balance at the bank..
The annual meeting was fixed for Friday, November 4, at 1 p.m. .
