CENTRAL THEATRE PICTURES. ' TO-NIGHT. THE WONDER MAN. To-night picture patrons will have the pleasure of witnessing the idol of the screen,. George Carpen,tiers, in “The Wonder Man.” For -this special production the prices have been fixed at Is 6d for adults and 6d for children.

“UNDER CRIMSON SKIES” FRIDAY, OCTOBER 7. On Friday night will be screened a Universal Jewel super-production, ‘‘Under Crimson Skies.” featuring Elmo Lincoln, the famous star, of “Tarzan of the Apes.” “OUT OF THE SNOjVS.” SATURDAY, OCTOBER 8. On Saturday evening “Out of the Snows”- will be screened, and is a masterpiece of the screen well worth witnessing. MONDAY, OCTOBER 10. WILLIAM FARNUM IN SPANISH ROMANCB. William Farnum will be seen in a delighful role at the Central Theatre next Monday evening, when William Fox will present the famous star in “The Adventurer,” by E. Lloyd Sheldon. The popular artist will be seen in a character which is admirably suited to him, and is said to show him at all times at his best. He is a happy ~d«6ll'ing adventurer. His wonderful swordsmanship is one of the features of this strongly dramatic story.

Farnum is a type oP actor who has what is known as personality plus. He has more than a pleasing screen presence, and it is in these romantic roles that he always is at his best. “The Adventurer” is a delightful story, and the man voted to be the best lover on the screen is given ample opportunity to display liis art.

A fine cast has been selected. The leading woman, Estelle Taylor,, brings to the part of Mari-tana, a gypsy dancer, the flush and the charm of youth. Paul CazaneuveT Harry Southard, Doro.thy Drake, and Kenneth Casey are other well-known artists who will support Mr Farnum in this excellent romance, which has been directed by J. Gordon Edwards.

, TO-MORROW NIGHT.

A final reminder is given of the concert to be given in the Central Theatre to-morrow night in support of the Farmers’ Queen. A varied and entertaining programme will be presented, including items by outside and local talent.
