TENDERS are invited and will be received at this Office up to 4 p.m. on Friday, October 14, 1921, for the right to cut grass seed on that portion of the stopbank reserve lying between stopbank drain and river bank on the western bank of the Piako River only, between the two ends of the Puhanga Canal. This does not include the stop-bank along the Canal. • Tenders must be accompanied by a deposit equal to one-fourth of the amount tendered ; balance to be paid on acceptance of tender. Successful tenderer will be required to make his own arrangements, for saving the seed, no liability being accepted by the Department. • The highest or any tender will not necessarily be accepted. H.
