GRAND CONCERT.

THURSDAY NIGHT. On Thursday night the Convent children, assisted by local talent, will give a concert in the Central Theatre in support of the Farmers’ Queen. For some little time the. children, under Mrs Budd, have been assiduously practicing for this event, and patrons can be assured of a real good night’s entertainment Two of London’s latest dances, the “Ladroke” and the “Boston,” will be given for the first time in Paeroa, and should be an attraction. Included in the items to be given by the children will be “In the Poodle” and “The Fairies.” Other attractive items will be the scarf drill by a number of little girls and the nigger boys in their funny items. Amongst the artists assisting will be Mesdames Titi Royal, Kynh, and Miss McGrucr. “Molly.” the Farmer’s Queen, will be there also.
