MINE MANAGERS’ REPORTS. HAURAKI DEVELOPMENT WORK. Hauraki Mines.—-In the stopes north from the rise and winze connection on Legge’s reef, filling operations are in progress and no quartz has been broken for the week. Stop-ing-above the intermediate drive, the reef is somewhat smaller; the drive south to reach the intersection of Legge’s reef and the main slide is in 20ft, and the slide should be met with shortly.. Driving on the break in the Welcome Find section has reached a total distance of 175 ft. The mineralised wall being followed has been showing quartz during the last few days, and the flow- of water Is increasing. 7
