Small advertisements under classified headings (prepaid), 16 words Is per insertion ; 2s >6d three insertions ; 21 words Is 6d per insertion, 4s three insertions ; 30 words 2s 9d per insertion, 8s 3d three insertions. No more than. 50 inches allowed in any one issue, unless otherwise contracted for. No fixed positions allowed. Discounts : Cash in advance for one year, 5 per cent.; shorter periods, 2% per cent. Alterations: 6d per inch for more frequent alterations than monthly in any one month. Stereo matter may be changed each issue, free, provided all blocks. are the same in width and depth. Contracts for over three months aro payable quarterly. Paragraph advertisements 50 per cent, in addition to scale ; if rotating, a further 50 per cent. Advertising blocks or stereos supplied for use in advertisements arc accepted on the understanding that we shall not be called upon to replace or pay compensation for same in ,the event of their being injured or damaged. Advertisements will be set in the style adopted by .the paper only. The right is reserved to refuse anv advertising matter the publisher may deem objectionable, or contrary to the practice of his paper, and the exercise of such right shall not be held in any way to cancel the terms of the contract. Space taken must be uniform ir' each issue, unless otherwise contracted for.
