JVT OTICE is hereby given that -I.N it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act, 1908, and the Hauraki Plains Act, 1908, to take the land described in the Schedule hereto for the more effective carrymout of the drainage or other works authorized by the latter Act, And notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the post-office at Kerepeehi, and is there open for inspection ; and that all persons affected by the taking of the said land, should, if they have any well-grounded objections to the taking of such land, set forth the same in writing, and send such writing, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the Minister of Public Works at Wellington.: SCHEDULE. PAEROA BOROUGH COUNCIL. NOTICE OF SPECIAL ORDER. NOTICE is hereby given that at a Special Meeting of the Paeroa Borough Council held on the 11th day of August, 1921, the following resolution was passed, and will be submitted, for confirmation at a Special Meeting of the Council to be held on the 15th day of September, 1921, at 7.30 p.m. at the Council Chambers. Wharf Street, Paeroa. RESOLUTION. In pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred pn it by "The Municipal Corporations Act,, 1908,” and by every Amendment of the said Act, and by all other Acts, powers, and authorities enabling, the Paeroa Borough Council doth hereby amend the Paerpa Borough Building By-law, 1919, by way of Special Order, as follows : That Clause 16 be amended by adding after the word "building” on the first line, the words "having on intended to have a greater frontage than 66 feet to Normanby Road or Belmont Road,” and after the word "erected” on the first line, adding the words "or altered.” That the following Clause be added : "Ground plates, floor joists, and all exposed timber must be of heart kauri, heart rimu, heart totara, heart matai, or other approved heart material.” A copy of this By-law is deposited at the Offices of the Paeroa Borough Council, Wharf Street, Paeroa, and is open for inspection of the public during office hours until the said 15th day of September, 1921.
