ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING.

The annual general meeting of the Waikino Bowling Club was held in the Library on Monday, August 8, the president, Mi' J. H. Banks, presiding. The annual report and balancesheet showed that the year had been very good. ELECTION OF OFFICERS.
A vote of thanks was given to Mr Watters, the secretary, by acclamation. The election of officers for the year 1921-22 resulted as follows : President,. Mr J. H.. Banks (re-elect-
ed) ; Vice-pre'sidents, Mr H. Hewitt and Mr Vercoe; Secretary, Mr T. Watters (re-elected); Committee, Messrs Quin, Murphy, Jones, Odium, Collins; Auditors, Messrs Hind and Quin (re-elected) ; Green Committee, Messrs Hewitt, Hind, and bouthberg; Caretaker, Mr Clark ; Selector, Mr J. Hind (re-elected). It was decided that the Club have a dance and social in September. Two new members joined the club. The business concluded with a vote of thanks to the president and out-go-ing committee for .the good services rendered during the time they were in office. SOCIAL AND DANCE.
On Friday next a social and dance will be held in the Victoria Hall in Aid of the funds of the Catholic Church. A good orchestra will) be in attendance.
