Huntly P. & K. Club.
A committee meeting of the Huntly Poultry and Kennel Club was held on Thursday evening last in the commercial room of the Huntly Hotel.
Present: Messrs H. H. Sissons (chairman), F. vLittleproud, W. Riggans, J. Brooks, C. Starr, and W. H. Thomas (acting secretary,) The minutes of the previous meeting were read and confirmed. Inward and outward correspondence was read and dealt with.
Moved by the chairman and seconded by Mr Riggans : That a levy of 2/6 be made on each member of the committee, to enable all standing accounts to be met, and that any member not complying with the resolnion, will not be eligible for re-election on the new committee to be appointed at the next annual general meeting to be held in Maxell next.
Proposed by Mr J. Brooks and seconded by Mr F. Littleproud : That the secretary wait on Messrs Northcroftand Robertson, solicitors, and instruct them to write to Mr R. Wynyard, Devonport, re his last years entrance fees. Carried. The secretary was instr icted to write to Mr J. H. Cooper, General Secretary of the North Island Poultry Association, re the Oates for holding the next Annual Show; also in reference to Orpingtons and White Rocks as championships.
It was decided to hold the meetings and the next Annual Show in the Drill Hall, by kind permission of Sergeant - Major Ansel 1. The balance of accounts, £2 10s were passed for payment
