Printed Papers (including Books and Magazines, not registered)—All places, hid. per 2oz. Magazines, registered.—lnland, hid. for every Boz. or fraction thereof. Foreign, hid per 2oz. or fi-action thereof. One end must be left opelr. Commercial Papers—Town (for accounts, etc., only), hid. per hioz., or Id. for first 40z., and hid each succeeding 2oz. Inland Id. for first 40z., and hid. for each suc'ceeding 2oz. All other places lOoz. 2hid., and hid. for every additional 2oz. (Open for infection.) TELEPHONES. Charges.—At exchanges continuously open—Business establishments, £7 ; private residences, £5 per annum. Exchanges not continually open, an equal charge of £5. Telephone Exchanges at Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch, Dunedin, Invercargill, Napier Hastings. Palmerston N„ and Wanganui are open all day and, all night. The other Exchanges chiefly from 9 to 5 pan. TELEGRAPH RATES. For 12 words or less, including address and signature— Ordinary Telegratne Bd., and hid additional word. Urgent Telegrams,. 1/4 and Id. for each additional word. Telegrams to be repeated will be charged half-rates in addition to the above. CABLE RATES. Australian States, 4hid per word ; Norfolk Island, 3d per word; Fiji, 8d per word ; United States, 2s 4d to 2s 8d per word ; Cape Colony, 2s 7d per word; United Kingdom, 3s per word.
