MINERS’ HALL—TO-NIGHT Patrons are to be delighted this week end with two supreme variety programmes in which good healthy comedy predominates. This evening the star fettureis a 2,000 feet Keystone entitled “ Fatty’s Plucky Pup,” in which Roscoe Arbuckle and the Keystone Bull Dog are the principal actors. This film is said to be full of riot and fun, and patrons who enjoy a real good laugh should not miss it. A good supporting budget includes “ The Amerinano,” a two part Reliance drama, in which the photography is very fine, also the Topical Budget, and several short dramas and comedys. Patrons cordially invited to attend.
Another good variety selection is to be screened on Saturday,consisting of eight delightful photographs, The star comedy is entitled “War,” for which the famous Vitagraph Company are responsible. The action of the story takes place in America where many nations - are represented, most of -whom are directly connected with the present Titanic European str xggle. The complications are indeed very funny, and will provide good fun. A well selected supporting series of good dramas, interest Topical, and comedy subjects supply that variety which the Huntly public like. Seats for the dress circle may be reserved at McNee’s as usual. The mangement advise that special programmes for next Monday and Tuesday will be screened, full particulars of which will be advertised at the theatre.
