Messrs Dalgety and Co. report as follows : NGARUAWAHIA SALEWe held our usual monthly sale at Ngaruawahia on Friday last. A medium yarding, mostly this year's calves, came forward. We quote : —Fat cows £8 to £8 10s, store cows £5 13s to £7, ; cows and calves £7 10s, empty heifers £4 13s. calves £1 15 to £2 7s, The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd, report : At Te Awamutu stock sale on the Bth inst, we had a yarding of 1063 head of cattle. There was a fair demand for all classes at the following prices Good fat cows £lO Is to £lO 7s 6d, medium cows £8 to £8 7s 6d, unfinished cows £7 7s to 7s 16s, fat heifers £7 19s to £8 15s cows and calves £7 12s fid to £B, 20-months to two-year-old steers £5 7s to £6 2s fid, 15-months old steers £4 5s to £4 16s, calves, mixed sexes, £1 10s to £2 ss, heavy bulls Bgns to lOgns, light sgns to figns, dairyc.ows at profit £8 to £lO 10s, weaner pigs 10s fid to 13s, slips £1 Is to £1 7s, porkers £1 13s to £1 16s, two-tooth wethers £ll 6s.
