The breeding of pigeons as a table delicacy and as an item of invalid diet is the coming industry in Australia (says a writer in the December issue of Life). The writer shows that, as compared with poultry-farming, the industry of pigeon-raising is child’s play, and in capital outlay, space, labour and profit everything is in favour of the new industry. The directions given in Life for breeding, feeding, and marketing the birds are full and clear, and are illustrated with numerous photographs.
