MINERS’ HALL—TO-NIGHT.

Special war subjects are being shown this evening by the management, which will create very great interest, those of note being “ Within the German Lines and “ Our wounded Heroei back from the Dardanelles," while the Australian Gazette contains popular War Cartoons by Harry Julius. The star feature is by the famous Selig Co, the makers of the Adventures of Kathlyn and is entitled “A Fight to Death.” The Selig people make a specially of nature dramas and this one will certainly be worth seeing. A big supporting drama entitled “(In the Twilight ” is a very fine play of tender sentiment. Popular comedies are also included, amongst which is a good keystone called “ Fatty’s Chance Acquaintance featuring Roscoe Arbuckle. Patrons may be sure of a good evenftigs entertainment For Saturday Mr Calder has secured a big military drama entitled “ 1914 ”. This is by the famous authoress “ Rita ” and is written in connection with the present war, around the doings of a famous Scotch Regiment, It is a marvellous picturisation and featutes Miss Jane Gail the English Actress. A magnificent series of added features will be shown consisting of the latest War pictures, scenic studies, dramas and a special budget of popular comedies. Two of these comedies are by the famous Keystone Co. one being entitled “ Cursed by His Beauty ” and the other “ That Springtime feeling ” featuring the one and only Syd Chaplin. A big house is anticipated and patrons are advised to book seats at McNees. The usual mid-w'eek change next Tuesday, special particulars of which will be given at the theatre.
