MINERS’ HALL—TO-NIGHT The ninth eposide in that most spectacular and interesting serial drama, The adventures of Kathlyn will be shown this evening. This section is entitled “ The Spell Bound Multitude ” and it depicts in every realistic fashion the further trials of Kathlyn and her friends. A good variety of interesting subjects support the star, amongst which are the latest war pictures, a fine Edison two-part society drama entitled “ The King’s move in the City,” and two Keystone comedies, one of which features Mable Normand and Fatty Arbuckle. This series will be found very entertaining. For Saturday, Mr Calder announces a big Broadway Star Special entitled “ 413,” which features Miss Anita Stewart, and a Vitagraph Star Cast. This is one of the most remarkable and sensational films of the day owing to the fact that a genuine railway smash of a train travelling at 60 miles an hour forms part of the plot. The above feature is supported by a big popular budget of variety subjects, which include sporting, vaudeville, war and comedy films amongst the latter being an extra Keystone entitled “ The Lone Thief.” A special film of Duke Kahanamoku, the Haawaian summer at Wellington, will also be shown. Patrons should on on account miss such a magnetic programme. Seats may be hooked as usual at McNee’s. Usual week end change next Tuesday,
