Huntly, September Ist, 1615. 1 rTIHE Local Bodies’ Loans Act, JL 1913, The Town Boards Act, 1908, and any other Statutes now or hereinafter passed affecting Loans to local Bodies. Proposeed Additional Loan of £2OOO (Two Thousand Pounds), for the purpose of move adequately providing Electrical Lighting and power supply for the Huntly Town District. The Huntly Town Bwtrd hereby gives notice:- » yj 1. That the partiiLfuJ- purpose for which the Addinoiml Loan is required is the moro adequate provision of/an Electric Lighting and /Power Supply for the fHußrtly Town District, including the acquisition of such sites and land as may be necessary fpr such purpose, and the construction and erection thereon of such Power House, Buildings, Plant and Machinery as may be necessary or incidental to the said undertaking, and also tfift provision and erection of poles, wires, lamps, and connections as may be required for the Public and Private Lighting of the District. 2. That, it being unable to provide the necessary funds for such works out of ordinary revenue, proposes to borrow the sum of £2OOO at a rate of interest not exceeding s}x> per centum per annum. 3. That the provision for repayment is, that the said Loan shall be repaid in 36}d> years, and time a sinking fund of 1 per centum per annum be provided for that purpose. 4. That the proposed security for such loan shall be the said undertaking or works when completed, including such power House, Buildings, Plant, Machinery, Poles, Wires, Lamps, and connections, and all revenues derived there from, less the working expenses thereof, and also a Special Rate of two-ninths of one penny in the £ on the rateablCTalue of all rateable property in the said district, which rate is estimated to give and yield 10 per centum more than the interest, together with the Sinking Fund of 1 per centum per annum, and also all the Revenues of the Huntly Town District and the Huntly Town Board. 5. That it proposes to pay out of the said Loan, the cost of raising the Loan and the interest on such Loan for the first year. Dated the 16th day of August. 1915. J. F. BAILEY.
